Wilbur goes driving

I was feeling like and adventure, it was too cold for most things

so I thought I would take Granny's car for a spin.

Yes I could see over the wheel if I stood on it, all is OK.

I pinches the keys off the hook, and I thought she didn't know.

Guess what here she comes. She was very cross at me, although

she did say she was going to Spotlight and I could come for a drive

if I was good.

Well what would a bear do, of course you would go, Granny must be going to get

a spot light to take the most perfect photo's of a perfect bear.

When I saw all the traffic it made me wizzy in the head. Red for stop Green

for go. I have know idea what orange is for. Then there are signs and

I can't read. I must get my books out when I get home, you know A is for apple stuff.

OK Spotlight here we come, I told Granny I wanted a really good light

to make me even more handsome. Then GUESS WHAT, she tells me

she is getting some wool. I ask you.

I was so mad I said I am staying in the car for a rest, and to let my frustration

have time to calm down.

This is all too much.

OK here is the precious wool Granny got.

I 'm sure I won't go driving for a long while.

Milly is a little ballerina bear I have just finished

for an order.

Teddy Bear and Friends

I couldn't believe my eyes, Granny took me to a meeting she goes to

called Teddy Bear and Friends. If I only knew what nice food they

had there I definitely would have been there every time.

The first thing I saw was a group of teddies having a party.

They asked if I wanted to join them. Now what would a proud bear

like me say. "Thank you very much I would LOOOOOOve to."

I kept thinking there didn't look as though there was much food.

What did I say FOOD.

Wow what was on this table? Little bears in cups. Now I think

there was a competition for the best bear in a cup. I know who

would have won. ME of course. It was a problem because Granny

could not find a big enough cup.

This must be a very important meeting , even pictures of

the Queen, and British things.

Now this looks like afternoon tea. I'm sitting very close

 to this big plate of chocolate cakes.

Hmmmm!!!!! I think I will come here again.

Making the most out of nothing

It is a holiday weekend, and I want to go some where.

Granny says, NO. We need to get some jobs done,

so guess where I landed. In the washing basket.

I was supposed to be handing up pegs, but I thought

I could do my gym work out.

before I started I thought a swing in the sheets would be good.

Wooo Hooo Granny, look how high I am.

All she could say was get DOWN, you are up far too high.

Weeee I can hang upside down.

I think push ups will make me strong. 8 9 10.

Wow I did it.

I can do hand stands, watch me Granny.

I need a rest so I will stay here until she finishes hanging out,

Then I need cookies and Milo.

I'm just exhausted.

Rock Buns

HOORAY

Well this is the messy part but I love it. I can get

my paws right in there and rub the butter into the flour.

What a mess! It's OK Granny says because we can

always wash your paws after.

Can you see white chocolate chips, apricots and an egg.

OK well don't get too excited..... we have to put the

SUGAR in.

and all the nice yummy things.

I got Granny to crack the egg I thought it was far to

slimy for me. Then we added milk and Hey presto

we had lovely dough that I like to lick.

Muuuummmm.

When we had put them all on the tray I was allowed

to lick the bowl. Yum, yum

Wow, what a good smell when they come out of the oven,

although Granny is always saying " You can't taste them too soon

or you will burn your tongue."

I tell her I'm the official taste tester, and I need more than one

to get a true taste. May be four or five, just to make sure the

batch is OK all the way through.

Now the official, as I know I am, needs to check to see

if any are burnt on the bottom.

No they are just right.

Now Granny tells me I have to share them with those

grandchildren. I think I need to take a few more to taste

test. I will store them in my secret tin.

HURRAY for the C.W.A. cook book.

This book looks old like Granny.

Alright I will give you the recipe but it's

in OLD measurements. What would you expect from

a Granny.

ROCK BUNS

 6 oz. S.R.Flour

2 oz. butter

2 oz. sugar

1 egg

pinch of salt

2oz. currants

2 oz. sultanas

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup of milk.

Sift flour and salt. Rub in the butter. Add all the other dry ingredients.

Mix with beaten egg and milk to make a stiff dough.

Place in spoonfuls in rough heaps on a greased tray.

Bake in a hot oven for 10 mins.

I used chocolate chip and apricot instead of the other fruit.

Plus I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg.
